Community Outreach

  • The 7th NDN Hackathon was the first remote hackathon which was held in October 20-21, 2018. This first remote hackathon had teams working on various hacks that would directly address NDN research needs, create new NDN tools or modify exiting tools, create or improve documents or know how’s.   • NDN Project has been selected as an organization for Google Summer of Code 2019

  • Registration remains open for NDNcomm at the University of Memphis March 23-24, 2017 immediately preceding IETF 98 in Chicago. The deadline to request travel grants is February 10, 2017. This report summarizes our accomplishments during the second year of the Named Data Networking Next Phase (NDN-NP) project (the 5th year of the overall project. This phase of the project focuses on deploying and evaluating the NDN architecture in four environments: building automation management systems, mobile health, multimedia real-time conferencing tools, and scientific data applications. Implementation and testing of pilot applications in these network environments further demonstrated our research progress in namespace design, trust management, and encryption-based access control. Community Outreach

  • NDNComm2015: This month we hosted over 100 people from 63 institutions and 13 countries at the NDN Community Meeting (NDNComm 2015) held at the University of California at Los Angeles campus in the Little Theater, Macgowan Hall, UCLA on 28-29 September 2015. They participated in presentations, breakout discussions, posters and panels. To view the presentations, view the archived live streams linked below.
