BIO:
Dr. Huhnkuk Lim received his Ph. D degree in Information and Communications from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), South Korea, in 2006. He joined the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) in 2006 as a senior researcher. He was a core network researcher in the architectural design and development of a user-driven network provisioning system deployed in a production research network in Korea. He is currently researching and developing an NDN SW platform for data-intensive science. He has published more than 40 refereed papers in the area of user-driven virtual networks, Information Centric Networking (ICN) and optical networks in archival journals and conference proceedings. He was a recipient of the Excellent Paper Award for a paper presented at APIC-IST 2008. He has served as an associate editor of the Journal of Internet Computing and Services from 2007 to 2013.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Recently we are interested in developing an NDN architecture for data-intensive science, currently focused on climate modeling [1]. It cover development of an NDN user interface and a translater for climate modeling users between US and Korea, including some modification of NFD if needed for that. Also we plan to propose an architecture in order to support producer side mobility on NDN [2].

NDN Plans:
We believe that global NDN testbed is truely helpful for experimentation and verification of big data transfer across global NDN network, based on our developed NDN SW platform. We are currently targeting climate modeling and HEP as data-intensive science between US and Korea. NDN connection on US side is already offered for them to global NDN testbed.
